Product Reviews
These are honest, unbiased, unpaid reviews. Since gluten free food is the only type of food that's safe for me to eat, I thought why not save you the trouble of buying horribly made food.

Against The Grain Gourmet Three Cheese Pizza Shell
I wish this brand was carried in more grocery stores because this was absolutely delicious. The size is very comparable to wheat grain pizzas in the frozen food section which is a win win, considering most gluten free food is noticeably smaller. I found it at Wegman's for $8 but they also sell a fully made cheese pizza which runs about $16.

Amy's Bowls Chili Mac
I tried one of Amy's other products, a burrito that was decent, so I was really excited to try this. It looked like it was a main meal but once I opened the box it was more of a side dish size. The look was not appealing and the taste was reminiscent of a bad elementary school cafeteria lunch. This was slop. I tried to jazz it up by adding it to hot dogs. I would skip buying this. You could make a better meal if you just boiled your own elbow noodles, added canned kidney beans, canned diced tomatoes and stirred in some cheddar cheese.

BFree Pizza Crusts
I would give the convenience of pantry pizza crust a 5 alone... but the crust is super thin, almost like a flat bread. So these pizza crusts won't give you the traditional thickness you get from wheat flour crusts. However, one pack comes with 2 pizza crusts so that's a win win. The taste is good so I would buy it again. I broiled the pizza because I was trying to brown and further melt the mozzarella cheese so the pizza in the pic is a tad bit burned but it was still good. Will be adding this pizza crust to my regular grocery list. The convenience is too easy to pass up.

Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free Pizza Crust Mix
I have to say I'm a huge fan of Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free flours. They are really good quality and have always made my desserts and savory dishes turn out great. The bag comes with 1 yeast packet and the instructions say there's enough flour to make two 12 inch pizzas or one 16 inch pizza. The dough was thick, which I like, but I wished I had an iron skillet to stick in the oven to finish the cooking process because baking the pizza on a regular large baking sheet I was unable to get the bottom crust crispy and leaving it in longer would have eventually burned the top. I gave this 3 thumbs up instead of 4 because I think the dough could use some extra flavor - salt, butter, onion and garlic powder.

Conte's Potato and Cheese With Onion Perogi
I've always seen perogies being served at restaurants on The Food Network, but never actually had a chance to taste them myself before going gluten free. I don't know what traditional perogies taste like but these were absolutely delicious. They taste kind of similar to cheese tortellini but I can kind of see why some recipes pair them with a cream sauce or sausage. These do not disappoint, great portion size and a decent price. Would absolutely buy these again. I bought these at Wegman's but depending on where you live, Safeway, Amazon and Uber Eats sells them as well.

DeLallo Gluten Free Mini Gnocchi
This brand makes traditional wheat pasta but they also have a decent amount of gluten free products like orzo, lasagna sheets, spaghetti and penne. I will say that it is hard to find stores that carry the gluten free versions of their products. However, if you can find them, buy it. The gluten free box of gnocchi was only $5 and it made enough for 3 servings of pasta. I've made gnocchi from scratch which is very time consuming so it was nice to be able to finally find this in store. Tastes absolutely delicious!

evol. foods Smoked Gouda Mac & Cheese
This was another gluten free find from Wegman's. This grocery store chain has the largest selection of gluten free frozen, refrigerated and pantry items I have ever seen! This was good - but it doesn't taste like mac & cheese. If you've ever had the microwaveable Pasta - Roni or Hormel meals where you just add water - it tastes like one of those. Which isn't bad, but it doesn't have the Thanksgiving mac & cheese flavor. It's only 1 side serving for less than $5 but the flavor was good enough that I would buy it again.

Feel Good Foods Chicken Dumpling Soup
Feel Good Foods makes chicken potstickers, egg rolls and a bunch of other gluten free precooked frozen foods. These were surprisingly small, like an appetizer, but came with a full meal price. So for that, I only gave it 2 thumbs up because I was still hungry after eating this. The small size of the dumpling, along with the fact that there were only six in the box, should have come with a smaller price tag and not the $8 I paid for it.

Glutino Original Crackers
If you can find a grocery store chain that sells these crackers for $5, that's a good deal. One of my biggest pet peeves about these crackers is that most grocery store chains sell these crackers for $6 - $7 dollars. This is triple the cost of wheat grain crackers. My other issue is the packaging. One paper box comes with two aluminum pouches - great for the environment, but not a smart option for crackers. About 1/3 of the crackers in one bag were broken into pieces. However, if you enjoy having cheese and crackers for a snack, this is a decent option.

Katz Cinnamon Buns
I will start by saying that the flavor is good. However, the picture on the box versus what the cinnamon buns look like once you open it are not the same. The size was so disappointingly small. I can easily fit two cinnamon buns in one hand. If they were appropriately titled mini cinnamon buns that would make more sense.

Live GFree Cheese Ravioli
Aldi's gluten free store brand, Live GFree sells cheese and spinach and cheese ravioli in the frozen section for less than $5. One bag makes 2 bowls. Can be microwaved or cooked on the stove. Doesn't have the "chalky, cardboard texture" found in many gluten free products. Tastes absolutely delicious.

Live GFree Donuts
Aldi's Live Gfree brand sells glazed and chocolate donuts in the frozen section. These donuts are so good I have bought them many times. The taste closely resembles Krispy Kreme donuts that I used to be able to enjoy. These are the perfect treat that even non-gluten free folks will love. Just be careful not to microwave them longer than 60 seconds, otherwise they'll be too hard to eat.

Red Lobster Gluten Free Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix
The great thing about these biscuits is you can eat them at Red Lobster locations or you can skip the trip and make these at home. I've slightly modified the recipe, swapping out water for whole milk and added extra white cheddar cheese. Either way, these are absolutely delicious. These are reasonably priced and can be found at Amazon, Giant, Kroger, Publix, Walmart and Wegman's.

Tate's Bake Shop Ginger Zinger Cookies
Eating these cookies felt like someone pulled a switcheroo in the warehouse. I've had Tate's gluten free chocolate chip cookies quite a few times so I thought these would be just as good. It's like eating a cookie with a ginger flavored now and later inside that becomes a chewy, gummy texture in your mouth. Not something I want in a cookie or any sweet treat. To make matters worse, the Amazon reviews talk about how great this flavor is but it really is not. Couldn't even finish the bag.

Udi's Crispy Thin Crust Four Cheese Pizza
This reminds me of school lunch pizza and not in a good way. If you've been out running errands all day and are really too exhausted to cook or even make a sandwich, frozen pizza is an easy option. So great for convenience, but it has a very "you're eating gluten free food" taste. They do carry thicker crust frozen pizzas but those had pepperoni and I don't eat pork so... Overall, this pizza was not crispy and left a lot to be desired. Maybe if it was called flat bread instead of pizza I wouldn't be so upset that I bought this. Also, the directions need to be revised, cooking for 10 - 12 minutes at 425 degrees I would have burned my pizza completely had I not checked during the halfway mark.
